We welcome Caspar Engdahl to Eliasson Artists!

Caspar Engdahl, bass-baritone from Stockholm, received his education at the University College of Opera in Stockholm and Malmö Opera Academy. He has sung a number of roles at Malmö Opera, such as Don Alfonso in Cosi fan tutte and Peter Quince in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Now in December 2021 he will perform in Gianni Schicchi together with the Royal Academic Orchestra in Uppsala.
Caspar Engdahl grew up in Stockholm and made his first musical experiences in a boys' choir in St Jacobs church. Then he applied for classical singing and received his education at Vadstena Folk High School, the University College of Opera in Stockholm and then Malmö Opera Academy. Caspar participated in and premiered Roger Assar Johansson's opera Leka med elden, after Strindberg, at Kalmar Theater. In 2017, he sang in Kronbruden at the Gothenburg Opera. In the summer of 2018, he participated in Marschner's The Vampire at Läckö Castle and in the summer of 2019, Caspar was seen in the operetta A Nun Too Much at Ystad Theater. At Malmö Opera, he has been seen in several gala concerts, as a guard and robber in The Snow Queen, Don Alfonso in Così fan tutte and most recently in the autumn of 2021 as Peter Quince in A Midsummer Night's Dream directed by Sir Peter Hall (in collaboration with Glyndebourne). In December 2021, he sings Betto di Signa in Gianni Schicchi with the Royal Academic Chapel at Uppsala University. In the summer of 2022, Caspar will return to the Operetta at Ystad Theater and the performance Cinderella.
